What you do TODAY can improve all of your TOMORROWS

Tina Ellis is the founder of Feeling Fab at 50. Tina’s career started in the media industry when she was just 16 years old. When she gave birth to her son in 2002 she became a full-time mum. In 2006, she became a property investor together with her husband, and today they have a portfolio of buy-to-let properties in the North of England.
Tina’s passions are health, fitness, nutrition, and self-development. She has her own private label brand of products in these areas.
Her brand Feeling Fab at 50 is about pro-aging in a new and exciting way, simply by making better choices every day and swapping bad habits for good habits to transform your overall health and wellbeing, without feeling overwhelmed.

For Tina it’s about powerfully impacting women to live the best version of themselves, using tools and techniques that empower the mind, body and soul.

You have worked in the media industry, in property and you are the founder of Feeling Fab at 5O. Can you please describe your journeys that lead you to success?

I believe the key to success is very simple, all you need is consistency, we already have daily habits in place, just make sure they are good ones! Feeling Fab at 50 is about making better choices every single day to dramatically transform your overall health and wellbeing without feeling overwhelmed.

Small, Smart Choices + Consistency + Time = RADICAL DIFFERENCE – Darren Hardy

Before I had my children, I was a confident businesswoman. I worked for a newspaper in the city, managing a team of 15 sales staff.

When I left the corporate world to become a full-time mum, I was determined to put the same effort into bringing up my children, which – let’s be honest ladies – is THE most important job in the world! However, it is also a job where the pay is non-existent, the praise is pretty limited and it’s a 24/7 working week for a good 10 years with an occasional break if you’re lucky.

I had gone from a high-flying businesswoman to a stay-at-home mum. I was no longer financially independent, and I was no longer contributing to our household income.

One day I went for a coffee with a friend who had a couple of buy-to-let properties, and she told me how it worked. My husband thought it was a great idea, so we took the plunge and bought our first property. This was in 2006, and we continued to buy and build a portfolio of properties. Today we own several properties in the north of England.

I think at this point I was the most stressed I have ever been in my life. I wasn’t taking care of myself at all, often felt so tired and down that, I didn’t bother for myself. My self-esteem was at rock bottom: I even stopped seeing friends because I didn’t have time for them.

And this is when my self-development journey began. I became obsessed!  It doesn’t take long until you start to see and feel improvements. Over the past 10 years, I have spent hours on YouTube, on Netflix watching documentaries, joined numerous self-development programmes, listening to self-development audible books, following inspirational successful people on social media, attending events and seminars, had personal mentors for business and physical training. I made a lifestyle change back then and I still do all of these things to this day, I am committed to lifelong learning because I believe that if we are not growing, we are shrinking, and I never want to shrink again.

What is the mission and the vision behind Feeling Fab at 5O?

My ultimate vision for Feeling Fab at 50 is to be a world-renowned brand that positively impacts millions of women’s lives around the world with world-class products and information. Our supplement range LadyRejuve available at www.ladyrejuve.com is the expression of a deeply held, very personal desire to create a lasting difference to the health and rejuvenation of women 45+. My book The Ultimate Guide to Feeling Fab at 50 is also coming up soon and information on health and well-being is available on my blog at www.feelingfabat50.com.

How can women empower their mind, body and spirit? Why do you believe that empowering women’s health and wealth will change the world?

From my personal development journey over the years, I have discovered that the most successful and happy people in the world are consistent every single day of their lives with their habits, beliefs and behaviours and ways of thinking.

Using my simple 4 steps M.E.N.O. Action Plan every day has the power to dramatically change every aspect of your life from health, fulfillment, body, happiness, spirit, productivity, relationships, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

M.E.N.O. is an acronym, M is for the mind, E is for exercise, N is for Nutrition and O is for organisation and by choosing one area from each of the four steps daily, you will be sure to transform your overall health and wellbeing in as little as 30 days.

Remember: what you do TODAY can improve all of your TOMORROWS.

I want to spread the message that reaching 50 needs to be times for exciting change, a time to start focusing on ourselves again, set up a business, run a marathon, jump out of a plane… I don’t know. Just do all the things you’ve ever dreamed of doing because at this stage, we have still got half of our lives to live and if you take care of your health you can enjoy all of these amazing things life has to offer.

The Mastermind program Think Big & Go Global, how has it changed you?

I can honestly say that my personal experience with Mirela and the Global Woman network has been life-changing. I came home from London with a new lease of life and a belief and confidence in myself to go out there and help as many other women as possible to live the best version of themselves at middle age… She helped me to see clearly that my purpose is to help as many women as possible.

Mirela is an amazing, authentic and truly caring woman whose mantra is to share everything with everyone. She is a true inspiration and somebody I am truly grateful to have met.
